The Utrecht Debating Society has a long-standing tradition of singing the UDS song during General Assemblies. However, this song is not uncontroversial: for years the members have been trying to change or even abolish it. In 2026, the Society embraced an updated version of the song that truly reflects the spirit of UDS today. We are proud of this new version and happy to carry the tradition forward with a song that brings us together.
